Pastor encourages us that God is working on our behalf. We know that others are being willingly ignorant but it's their choice. We must trust the Lord when others seem to be looking somewhere else. Be careful not to mix with their Pharisees and Saducees false prophecies. Jesus talks about how they deceive people. Jesus talked about how the people could not even discern the signs of the time. Beware of the leaven. Take heed. The teachings of these are dangerous. Half-truths - there are a lot of good messages out there but they're only telling half-truths. They are not telling the whole story. These false doctrines will defile you.
Matthew 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips;
But their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, Teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Beguile - charm, enchant, led astray
Do not be beguiled or charmed or have your ears tickled. Gal 1 -
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
The Son of Perdition will deceive men and cause them to believe a lie. The deception is in the land now. The Lord warns us to not be deceived.
You must love the truth and the truth will set you free! The lost are believing a lie. They have pleasure in unrighteousness.
God has chosen you for His purpose. His truth has sanctified you. Hold fast to the truth! Hold fast to God's grace and mercy!
Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty!
