A Good Soldier

2 Timothy 2:3

“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”

  • Our aim is to please the Lord. We cannot get entangled in the affairs of the world like the world does. We have a job to do.
  • Ephesians 6 - Put on the full armor of God.  
  • Though we live in this world, we are not OF this world
  • We do not wage war in the flesh
  • Our main power is love - GOD IS LOVE
  • We must be obedient to God's word
